We are pleased to inform that on Tuesday, 8th December at 5 p.m., GMT (6 p.m. Polish time) a Webinar will be held, during which the Fish Passage 2020 Distinguished Project Award will be presented, awarded this year to our project by the co-organizer of the cyclical FISH PASSAGE conference related to the World Fish Migration Day initiative. The participation of our project’s representatives in FISH PASSAGE 2015 in Groningen was an opportunity to get acquainted with the latest solutions in the construction of fish passes and helped in the implementation of projects in accordance with the latest knowledge in this subject.
In the webinar, Artur Furdyna, the field coordinator, will present the LIFEDrawaPL project co-financed by the European Commission and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw. Among others, the project contributes to the return of two species considered extinct more than 50 years ago to the Odra basin, by improving the ecological conditions of the Drawa and neighbouring river systems.
