Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Szczecin gained qualification to the “Polish Award of Intelligent Development 2016” for the project LIFE13 NAT /PL/ 000009 entitled “Active protection of water-crowfoots habitats and restoration of wildlife corridor in the River Drava basin in Poland”, co-financed by the European Commission and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw.
The main media partner of the event is “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna\Daily Legal Newspaper” and “Rzecz o innowacjach\ The Thing about Innovations”.
“Polish Award of Intelligent Development” is a nationwide award appreciating the most innovative projects in the framework of EU and national programmes realised by Polish research institutions, institutions and companies involved in research and development activities. The second group of subjects are local governments, their subordinate companies and private and public companies, which through its innovative solutions and investments contribute to the sustainable development of Poland.
The awards ceremony will take place on 20-21 October 2016 in Rzeszow during the “Intelligent Development Forum” a prestigious nationwide event aimed at promoting and supporting European cooperation. The aim of the congress is to build synergies between science, business and local government units.
