We kindly invite You to participate in the LIFE 2018 Information Day organized for the eleventh time by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. The conference is to take place on 25th April 2017 in Warsaw.
The aim of the event is to provide information at the national level from the European Commission on the projects’ recruitment in 2018. Representatives of the European Commission and the European Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises, of the Ministry of the Environment and the Management Board of NFOŚiGW are planning to participate in the meeting.
Participation in the event is a unique opportunity to learn about the LIFE Programme, a chance to exchange experiences with other LIFE Beneficiaries, as well as to present the activities carried out as part of projects to a wide range of potential applicants.
According to the information provided on our website, we would like to inform you that the application procedure for year 2018 under the sub-programme Environment is a two-stage process. The first stage is a submission of a concept (concept note). The applicants whose projects will be positively evaluated by the EC/EASME, pass to the second stage and will be able to submit a complete application. In the case of the Climate sub-programme, the application procedure remains unchanged.
The LIFE 2018 Information Day will consist of a general session and three thematic sessions. The general session is addressed to those who are preparing to apply in the LIFE call for proposals and are looking for some basic knowledge about the Programme and its rules. It will answer the key question which projects can be financed. Presentations presented by two LIFE Programme Beneficiaries will allow to discuss issues on specific examples. There will be also time for asking questions and a discussion. During the general session the two Beneficiaries of LIFE projects will present themselves – the first beneficiary will show a project in the field of effective management of environmental resources, the second one will present a project concerning a circular economy.
The thematic sessions will be a chance to get to know some specific issues in detail:
- Innovations/Circular economy
- LIFE for Information and Management
- Nature conservation for climate in LIFE projects.
Meetings in thematic groups will facilitate familiarization with specific activities and solutions. The participants will get acquainted with the experiences of the Programme beneficiaries who will present their experience in implementing LIFE projects.
An additional activity on the Information Day 2018 will be an exhibition of 20 stalls: 15 presenting the LIFE projects currently being implemented in Poland and 5 information stands representing other financial instruments in Poland, such as Horizon 2020, KPK for Financial Instruments of the European Union Programmes (Polish Banks’ Association), European Projects Centre, National Centre for Research and Development and BOŚ.
The general session will be broadcast on-line to enable tracking via Internet.
